Yoga-related Q&A

  • Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class if you need to cancel or you will be fully charged for the session.

  • If you are more than 5 minutes late for class, you will not be permitted entry. This policy is to ensure classes in session are not disrupted. We encourage you to plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to prevent arrivals beyond the 5-minute grace period.

  • Yes, we offer a variety of yoga classes with a range of temperatures. You may learn more about our yoga class formats, room temperature, and all other details on our yoga webpage.

  • All of our classes are led by experienced yoga teachers who understand the proper cueing for students who are pregnant. We occasionally host workshops and special events specifically offered for the prenatal community.

  • We offer a variety of class packages, memberships, and introductory offers. Pricing and membership information can be found under those tabs.

  • Our schedule of classes can be found under the Book Now tab.

  • Yes, you may drop in or book a class ahead of time.

  • For new students, we generally recommend fully guided classes offering more grounded, slower flows. Healing Vinyasa is a great class for first-timers!

Wellness-related Q&A

  • All massages are customized to your specific needs.

  • We only use products that are for sensitive skin types and all-natural essential oils.

  • You can choose to leave underwear on or off, but we do ask that you remove your other garments.

  • No, if you’re not feeling well we would kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment.

  • We do not offer sessions in the same treatment room, however, we can accommodate 2 sessions in separate rooms.

Teacher Training-related Q&A

  • Yes, prior to program enrollment, you need to take a minimum of 3 classes with us to become familiar with our community, style of classes, and culture, to make sure we are a good fit for what you are looking for. In addition to your application, each applicant will have a Zoom call/interview with Robyn, Director of Yoga Teacher Training, before being accepted into the program.

  • Attendance is required for all scheduled dates and times in order to receive a certification. However, with prior written approval and for last-minute emergencies, it is possible for an exception to be made. Any missed hours must be made up with approved teachers and at your own expense in order to receive certification. All requests are handled on an individual basis. You may not miss more than 10 hours, without incurring additional expenses. A maximum of up to 14 total hours in absence will be allowed and anything beyond 14 hours will result in dismissal from the program. You may defer to a future program for an additional fee of $800.

  • Yes. You will have written homework, required readings, and partner exercises. This is to help support the process of learning and help solidify the material covered during the group training sessions.

  • Yes, upon program acceptance, we are open to discussing individual payment plan options based on individual needs. Tuition does need to be paid in full by the program start date. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss options.

  • Yes, you may pay your tuition in full and take advantage of early bird payment discounts if paid before the deadline.

  • Yes. However, your application is your commitment to the training. Upon approval, we will require the deposit before admittance. We will not process your application and admit you to the program if your application is incomplete. A complete application includes a (1) completed application, (2) deposit/payment, and (3) signed Payment Agreement if applicable.

  • Welcome Home Yoga & Wellness recognizes its responsibility for maintaining its reputation for high standards. With successful completion of all the program requirements, including contact hours, homework, and exercises, you will receive your Certificate of Completion. Those diligently applying themselves should find no difficulty in achieving success. You will have a lot of opportunities to practice teaching during the training, preparing you well for teaching in both the real and virtual worlds.

  • Yes. Welcome Home Yoga & Wellness a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Upon successful completion of our program, you may register with the Yoga Alliance (www.yogaalliance.org) at the RYT-200 level. Many new teachers decide to continue their Yoga Teacher Training education to further solidify their skills, knowledge, and style as yoga teacher.
