Community is stronger than an individual. The Run Club helps build motivation, creates support networks, and provides a healthy social outlet for all runners.

Summer 2024 Schedule

Stretch, breathe, and run with us!

Time: Our “Soleful Sundays” Runners/Strong Walkers Club meets at 7:00 AM and 8:30AM, using different routes around adjacent neighborhoods between our studio and Palmer Park, every week.

Location: Meet at Welcome Home Yoga & Wellness, 6375 W. Seven Mile Rd., Suite 103, Detroit, MI 48221 - out front (plenty of parking space on Stoepl, restrooms & gear drop available inside).

Guidelines: Arrive on time, stay engaged, be positive, identify your pace group upon arrival, run/walk with your group, and follow all park and traffic rules.

 

Distance/Pace Options

No matter where you are on your running journey, we have a group for you.

Long Run (8k +): Meet us at 7:30am! For those conditioned for running and looking to challenge their personal best or those who enjoy longer social workouts. This option is built around improving your personal pace, with interval training incorporated into a progressive workout schedule.

Shorter Run (5k): Meet us at 8:00am! This distance is perfect for those brand new to running or those looking for a shorter social workout. The program helps you cross the finish line of your first 5K race! Whether it's your first time conditioning for a new 5k race or you're working toward achieving a PR for your 50th 5k race, this distance will train you to cross the finish line safely.

Strong Walkers (up to 2 miles): Meet us at 8:00am! Take steps toward embracing a healthy lifestyle with this low-impact option that helps you safely incorporate walking into a regular fitness routine.
